Gardai from the Criminal Assets Bureau have seized financial documents from a search of a home in Tuam carried out today.

The Criminal Assets Bureau, supported by the Regional Armed Support Unit, carried out the search as part of an operation targeting organised crime in the area.

The operation took place in connection with multiple burglaries and the theft of high end vehicles and machinery around the county.

Documents related to financial accounts, the purchase of vehicles, and real estate were seized on a CAB warrant.

One individual at house in Tuam was also served with a Revenue Assessment of €500,000.
