A man has been arrested in Galway today as part of an ongoing investigation into human trafficking and related crimes.
Gardaà from Mullingar conducted a search and arrest operation in Co. Galway on Monday as part of their investigations.
In the course of the operation man in his 30s was arrested and is currently detained at Mullingar Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996.
An Garda SÃochána have said that the further updates will follow in this ongoing investigation.
