Investigations are ongoing into a brazen daylight assault on a young man in Galway City Centre last week.
Gardaà are investigating an assault that occurred on Middle Street, Galway City at approximately 2:15pm last Friday, December 2.
When Gardaà arrived at the scene the young man, aged in his 20s, was receiving medical attention from ambulance personnel.
He was later taken to University Hospital Galway for further treatment.
It’s understood that a male suspect fled towards Shop Street in the company of three other males.
An Garda SÃochána have said that investigations into the attack are ongoing.
