Gardaí are investigating after a firearm was discharged at a house in Galway City last week.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:30am last Friday, March 3 at house in Corrach Bui, Rahoon.
Damage was caused to property as a result of the firearm discharge, but Gardaí say that no-one was injured.
No arrests have been made at this time and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling through the Rahoon, Western Distributer Road or Westside areas of Galway on the morning. and who may have witnessed the incident or have video footage to contact them.
