Gardaì are appealing for witnesses after an arson attack outside a house in Castlepark, Ballybane on Sunday night.
This is the second time in the past week that Gardai have been called to horrific arson in Castlepark.
Gardaí received a report of a car set on fire outside a house in the Castle Park area of Ballybane shortly before 11.30pm on Sunday, February 6.
A front window in the house was also broken around the same time.
Four people were in the house at the time but were uninjured.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Castle Park area yesterday evening between 10pm and midnight and who may have observed unusual activity in the area to make contact with them.
An Garda Síochána would also like to talk to anyone who has video footage in this locality, including dash cam footage, covering a period from 10pm and midnight.
