Galway Hospice has offered their thanks to Creganna Medical for donating €10,000 to support their services.
“A big thank you to Creganna Medical for their generous donation of $10,000 towards Galway Hospice’s services for patients and families,” the hospice said on their social media.
“Such support helps to ensure the free delivery of Inpatient, Community Palliative Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services to patients and their families, for as long as it is needed.”
Creganna Medical is a multinational developer and manufacturer of medical devices based out of Galway.
It was founded in 1979 as an engineering outsourcing company, but by the early 2000s was solely focused on medical devices.
It is headquartered in Parkmore West, with factories and offices in California, Minnesota, Costa Rica, Singapore, Shanghai and elsewhere.
Galway Hospice is the chief provider of palliative care services in Galway city, and is heavily dependent on public donations to keep its services running as demand continues to grow.
