Galway Daily news Galway hospitals see COVID cases double in recent weeks

The National Public Health Emergency Team has reported 381 new cases of COVID-19 in the Republic.

The usual breakdown of figures is not available due to the ongoing disruption caused by the cyber attack on the HSE’s IT systems.

As of this morning, 110 people with COVID-19 are in hospital, of whom 42 are in ICU.

The Department of Health has said that daily case numbers may change due to future data validation.
