There have been a further 1,940 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported by the Department of Health today.
As of this morning, 352 people in Ireland were hospitalised with COVID-19.
Of these, 74 have been admitted to intensive care units for treatment.
Yesterday evening there were 21 cases at UHG, as admissions steadily go up again, with three more at Portiuncula.
Four the patients at University Hospital Galway were being treated in the ICU there.
