There have been a further 892 new cases of COVID-19 reported by the Department of Health today.
As of this morning there are 333 patients with COVID-19 hospitalised in Ireland.
Of these, 64 have been admitted to intensive care units in serious condition.
Ireland’s five day moving average of cases is now 1,172 per day.
In the past week there have been 135,247 tests carried out in Ireland, with a positivity rate of 6.5%.
There have been a total of 7,235,841 doses of vaccine administered in Ireland, with 3,694,910 people fully vaccinated.
