There have been a further 10,600 total cases of COVID-19 from PCR and Antigen tests reported by health officials today.
The HPSC has notified a further 6,689 PCR confirmed cases, along with 3,911 people registering a positive Antigen test through the HSE portal.
As of this morning there were 836 people hospitalised with COVID in Ireland, 56 fewer than yesterday.
The number of patients being treated in intensive care units has also fallen to 78, ten fewer than on Friday.
