The Department of Health has reported 373 new cases of COVID-19 in the State as the number of COVID patients in hospital continues to decline.
As of this morning, there are 54 people with the disease receiving treatment in Irish hospitals, of whom 18 are in intensive care units.
There were 13 further deaths from COVID-19 in May and five in June, health officials have said this afternoon.
A total of 38 deaths have been reported since 13 May – distributed across different months.
No county breakdown was given by the Department of Health today and they say that the figures released today could change in the future due to data validation and review.
