The Department of Health has reported 351 new cases of COVID-19.
The latest data shows that there are 46 people with the disease in hospitals across the State, of whom 16 are in intensive care units.
No figures were given for Galway today, and the Department has said that the daily case numbers may change due to data validation and review.
An Taoiseach Micheál Martin confirmed earlier today that the return to including indoor dining will be pushed back from its scheduled July date.
Indoor dining at all bars and restaurants had been set to resume from July 5 and the Government’s decision has led to further anger and frustration across the hospitality sector today.
