The Department of Health has reported a further 329 coronavirus cases in the Republic.
As of this morning, there are 59 people with COVID-19 in Irish hospitals receiving treatment – the lowest figure recorded since 13 September 2020.
Of those, 19 patients are in intensive care units – the lowest number since late September 2020.
Health officials say the daily case numbers may change due to future data review, validation and update.
No county breakdown of today’s cases was given.
