Health officials have reported 305 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon in the Republic.
There are now 49 people with the virus in Irish hospitals, of whom 16 are in intensive care.
The Department of Health says that the daily case numbers may change due to future data review, validation and update.
No figures were provided for Galway today.
