The Department of Health has reported 294 new cases of COVID-19 this evening.
There are now just 39 people with COVID-19 in hospitals in the State. Of those, a third are in intensive care.
Health officials have said that the daily case numbers could change due to data validation.
No figures were provided for Galway today.
