There have been a further 1,789 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported by the Department of Health today.
As of this morning there are 360 people in Ireland being treated for COVID at hospital.
Of these, there are 56 patients in serious condition who have been admitted to the ICU.
Daily case numbers may change in the future after data is reviewed and validated.
Public transport has become the first element of the country to see all lockdown restrictions lifted, with 100% capacity allowed again, though passengers are still required to wear masks.
