There have been a further 1,384 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported by the Department of Health today.
As of this morning there were 382 people in Ireland hospitalised with COVID.
Of these 74 patients are being treated in intensive care units around the country.
The latest hospital figures for Galway show that there were 20 patients at UHG, and three at Portiuncula, as of Saturday night.
Three of the patients at University Hospital Galway have been admitted to the ICU.
