There have been a further 1,380 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported by the Department of Health today.
As of this morning, the number of people hospitalised with COVID has grown to 459.
Of these patients, 74 have been admitted to intensive care units for treatment.

In the past week there have been 142,364 tests carried out in Ireland, with a positivity rate of 8.4% nationwide.
Up to last Friday there were 3,720,336 people in the country who had been fully vaccinated against the virus.
