The number of people at University Hospital with COVID-19 has fallen to two in the latest update from the HSE.
At Portiuncula Hospital, there are no confirmed cases of the disease.
Neither of the two confirmed cases are in critical care and there are currently seven ICU beds available at GUH.
There are a further two critical care beds available at Portiuncula Hospital.
Across the country there are 31 people with COVID-19 in intensive care units, and a total of 259 people in hospital who have tested positive for the virus.
Letterkenny has the highest number of confirmed cases in the Republic with 43 cases, one of whom is in ICU.
