There have been two additional deaths related to COVID-19 and 511 new cases nationwide reported by NPHET today.
A county breakdown of where the cases occurred was not published today.
There have now been a total of 37,695 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland, and  4,715 deaths related to the disease in the state.
Validation of data at the HPSC has resulted in the denotification of 3 confirmed cases.
As of last Wednesday, March 31 there had been 865,460 doses of vaccine administered in Ireland, with 246,457 people fully vaccinated.
