The Department of Health has said this evening that there have been 204 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total in the State to 1,329.
The most recent county breakdown (on the first 935 cases) shows that the number of confirmed cases in Galway has risen to 35, an increase of two.
The total number of COVID-19 cases on the island of Ireland is now over 1500, with the highest number of cases in Dublin (535).
29% of cases have been hospitalised.
