The search for Robert Murray missing for over a week is continuing along the Oranmore coast this weekend.
Robert Murray (25), from Salthill has been missing since Tuesday, January 8.
The last confirmed sighting of Robert was a cctv image of him near Shop Street shortly after 10pm.
He was wearing black trousers, and a khaki green jacket.
Robert is described as 5′ 10” with black hair.
Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit has been searching the coastline around Galway city for over a week,
The fresh search today got underway from Calasanctius college in Oranmore at 8:45am.
It is also planned to continue the search on Sunday from 9:45am, also from Calasanctius college.
Volunteers who want to take part are urged to bring appropriate all weather gear and safety equipment.
