AA Roadwatch was warned that there are long delays and heavy traffic in a number of areas across Galway this evening.
There are very long delays on Lough Atalia Rd from the Docks through to Moneenageisha, and approaching this area around the Docks is very busy.
Nearby, Wellpark Road is very slow between Moneenageisha and the Monivea Road.
There are also long delays on the Sean Mulvoy Road from the Bodkin junction through to the Bon Secours Hospital on the Dublin Road.
AA Roadwatch has also said that there are delays heading west from before the Brown Roundabout through Westside on the Seamus Quirke Road.
Outbound traffic is very slow from Bohermore out the Tuam Road towards Bothar na dTreabh, which itself is busy from the Terryland direction. Further outbound on the Tuam Road, it’s very slow into Claregalway.
