Burst water pipes on the Dublin road disrupting city traffic

Galway daily news Burst water mains at Inverin and Kilconly are causing water supply disruptions for people living in Connemara and North Galway this morning.

Traffic in Galway City is being disrupted this evening by a burst water main on the Dublin Road.

Galway City Council have put traffic management measures in place on the Dublin Road while repairs are underway to the burst main at the G Hotel.

Repair work is underway, but no estimated time of completion has been given by the city council or Irish Water yet.

People living on the Dublin Road and surrounding areas may experience water outages as a result of the burst pipes and repair work.
