A burst water mains is causing water outages to homes and businesses in the Carnmore area, which are expected to continue this evening.
Irish Water is carrying out repairs to a burst water main pipe at Carnmore West which was first reported shortly after 2pm this afternoon.
This is affecting the water supply to properties in Carnmore West, Cashla, Moorpark, Grange, Cartymore, Castle Ellen, Castlelambert and surrounding areas.
These repairs currently have an estimated time of completion of 7pm on Friday evening.
People affected by these water outages are advised that it may take 2-3 hours after repairs are completed before their full water supply is restored.
