Repairs to a burst water mains in the Newcastle area of Galway City are expected to be completed before midday today.
Irish Water is currently dealing with a burst mains just off the Upper Newcastle Road reported just after 9:30am.
This is causing water outages and supply disruptions to residents of Clifton Crescent, Clifton Court and surrounding areas.
Repairs are currently expected to be completed by 11am on Monday, November 8 according to Irish Water.
People affected are advised that it may take 2-3 hours after this point before their full water supply is restored, as the network refills.
