A burst water main is causing water outages for customers on the north side of Galway city this afternoon.
A burst water main was reported near the Tuam road in the the city at around 10am this morning.
People living at the Tuam road, Roundstone, Cloonacoonen and surrounding areas may experience disruptions to their water supply as a result.
A repair crew is working on the issue and Irish Water have given an estimated time of 6pm for repairs to be completed.

Customers whose water supply has been affected by this may have to wait 2-3 after that for their water to return.
