A burst water main is causing water outages or reduced water press to homes and businesses in the Kilkerrin Moylough area of north Galway today.
Water outages are affecting properties in the townlands of Moylough, Cooloo, Trasternagh, Gorteenlahard, Laughil and surrounding areas.
Repairs to the burst main are underway, and Irish Water is estimating that they will be completed by 5pm this afternoon.
A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.
People affected by this are reminded that it may take 2 -3 hours after repairs have been completed before their full water supply to be restored.
