A burst main is disrupting the water supply to residents of Mervue in the city today.
According to Irish Water a mains burst around midday today in the area of the Michael Collins road.
Residents of Glenina Heights and the surrounding area maybe without water this afternoon due to the damage.
Repairs works are being carried out and Irish Water have given an estimated time for their completion as 2pm.
A traffic management plan is in place in the neighbourhood while works are taking place.
However it may take two to three hours for residents to see their water supply fully restored.
