A Book of Condolence is open at the Town Hall Theatre for people who wish to pay their respects to the late Brendan Grace.

Brendan Grace passed away at Galway Clinic last Thursday aged 68.

Hundreds of fans of the comedy legend came out to honour him at his funeral in Dublin today.

For decades Brendan delighted comedy fans with his characters like the schoolboy Bottler Murphy, or his turn as Father Fintan Stack on Fr. Ted.

Mayor of Galway Mike Cubbard opened a Book of Condolence for the people of Galway who wished to pay respects at Town Hall Theatre this afternoon.

The book will be available for members of the public to sign in the Town Hall Theatre during opening hours until Friday, July 19.
