Bank of Ireland customers have been inconvenienced today by IT issues affecting their ATMs, app, and website with many services offline.
Bank of Ireland customers are currently unable to log onto the app or website, and some ATM services are also being affected.
However, BOI debit cards are still being accepted at other banks’ ATMs and retail outlets, and credit cards are function as normal.
“BOI is aware that some channels are currently out of service,” a spokesperson for the bank said.
“We’re working to rectify this ASAP and will provide further updates as soon as we can.”
This is the second day in a row in which BOI has experienced service troubles after difficulties with its payment systems yesterday.
