Bank of Ireland have just tweeted confirmation that all Bank of Ireland Visa Debit Cards are working correctly.
The issue caused serious disruption to numerous Bank of Ireland customers in Galway city/county and all over Ireland throughout the day with cards declining.
The issue seems to be resolved following a statement from Bank of Ireland confirming that all cards are back in action and have apologised for any inconvenience that may have been caused.
We’re confirming all of our Visa debit cards are working normally for all point of sale chip & pin transactions and for withdrawals at all ATMs. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
