A free information evening taking place place in Athenry next week will have plenty of tips on how to have an energy efficient home.
Representatives from SEAI will be there to to advise on what grants are available under the Warmer Homes Scheme for energy efficient measures like insulation, ventilation and heat pumps.
Irish Rural Link are hosting this event together with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland at the Raheen Woods Hotel next Monday.
This is the third such event in Galway recently after other information evenings in Loughrea and Tuam.
Galway TD Seán Canney said there was standing room only at those two, with plenty of people eager to hear how to cut on their heating bills.
The free evening will take place at the Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry at 7:30pm on Monday, March 11.
