Repairs works being carried out to the water network in the city and Tuam may disrupt people’s water supply this week.
Repairs to the water mains in Salthill are being carried out today by Irish Water as part of the National Leaks Reduction Programme.
People living along the Threadneedle Road and surrounding areas may experience water outages during the day while works are being carried out.
It’s expected that work will be complete by 5pm, though it may take several hour for full water supply to return after that.
On Thursday repair works will be taking place on the water network in Tuam in the early hours of the morning.
Mains repairs will disrupt the water supply to the centre and west side of Tuam town from midnight until 5am.
