One lucky person in Galway has made it rain with a 33,000 to 1 bet on the Euromillions.
According to Boyle Sports one person placed a measly €0.50 bet on four numbers coming up in the EuroMillions Plus draw on Tuesday, and took home €16,500.
The anonymous player placed their accumulator in a BoyleSports shop in Galway, gambling 7, 10, 17, and 18 to roll out.
When all four numbers came up, defying heavy odds, they’d turned a piece of pocket change into one hell of a pile of loot.
There was no winner of the €500,000 prize in the Euromillions Plus draw on Tuesday.
The full list of numbers were 7, 10, 13, 17, and 18.
