University Hospital Galway is the third most overcrowded in Ireland today with 49 patients on trolleys, also making it the third worst day at UHG this month.
The INMO’s daily Trolley/Ward Watch shows that in total there are 654 people on trolleys in Ireland’s public hospitals today.
The worst affected is University Hospital Limerick as usual where there are 73 patients in the Emergency Department or in Wards without a proper bed.
That is followed by Cork University Hospital (59), UHG (49), and Tallaght University Hospital (39).
Back in Galway there are just two patients with proper beds in Portiuncula University Hospital in Ballinasloe.
