A new Galway-produced podcast has been launched by a mother and son to help people reflect during the crisis.
The Hut near the Bog Podcast was created by mum Sheila Hoctor, a life coach from Rathcabban near Portumna, and her philosopher son, Dr James Hoctor.
The podcast draws on the wisdom of philosophers and others, as well as the life experiences of its hosts, to explore different aspects of human existence such as attitudes, relationships, death, and forgiveness.
Sheila Hoctor expressed her “hope that by exploring each topic via a philosophical and a life coaching lens we will provide our listeners with food for thought and give each person the opportunity to reflect on some of our valuable traditions and the strength of mind that comes with being aware of them.”
The podcast is available for free and can be found on all major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
