Deliveroo is celebrating its sixth anniversary in Galway by teaming up with Xi’an Street Food to give away free mini spice bags with all orders over €20 this weekend.
The mini spice bags will be made available only to Deliveroo users ordering from Xi’an Street Food on Quay Street from Friday 22nd October until Sunday 24th.
Deliveroo has also launched a petition for people to call on the Government to recognise the cultural significance of the spice bag with a national spice bag day.
Paddy Quinlan, Senior Regional Manager at Deliveroo Ireland, said: “Over the past six years we’ve built up an amazing customer base in Galway, so wanted to mark the occasion with a special collaboration that ties in with our campaign for a National Spice Bag.
“It is a takeaway legend and deserves its own special day. Deliveroo is proud to spearhead this important cultural mission and we can’t thank Xi’an Street Food enough for the support.”
