Galway’s Aniar restaurant has retained its Michelin Star status in the 2024 Michelin Guide published this week.
JP McMahon’s Aniar has been a staple of the Michelin Guide in Ireland for years now, among many other wards won by the celebrated restaurant in the westend.
Aniar is now the only Michelin Star restaurant in Galway since the acclaimed Loam, run by Enda & Sinead McEvoy, closed down last year due to increasing costs.
In other Michelin news Éan wine bar and bakery retained its Michelin Bib Gourmand status once again for delicious affordable dining.
Kaà restaurant also held onto its Michelin Green Star, which was introduced in 2021 to highlight restaurants at the forefront of the industry when it comes to their sustainable practices.
