Enjoy the taste of Autumn this season as Kasbah Wine Bar and Restaurant launches its seasonal menu for people to share the flavours of the West.
This casual restaurant and diner overlooks the bustle of Galway on Quay street, nestled upstairs from Tigh Neachtain’s, one of Galway’s best loved pubs.
Kasbah has already attracted attention, being named the Best Newcomer in Connacht this year by the Restaurant Association of Ireland.
This autumn, Kasbah is all about getting people to spend time together, and reflects that with a menu that’s perfect for sharing.
Bring a friend to try the sharing platter of Gubbeen meats with chutney and pickles, or the Irish cheese board with autumnal fruits, quince paste, and homemade crackers.
They can be enjoyed upstairs in the Kasbah wine bar, or down in Neachtain’s over a pint.
The kitchen at the Kasbah is open from noon each day when it starts serving lunch downstairs at Neachtain’s, and from 5pm on the upstairs wine bar comes alive.
The main dinner menu brings a little bit of everything to the table from many different cuisines.
There’s the Flaggy Shore Oysters with elderberry, Velvet Cloud and tarragon, to Herterich’s pork tacos, burnt pineapple salsa and ranch to the ricotta and spinach dumplings with beetroot puree and hazelnuts.
Or if you’re looking to just enjoy a bite of something sweet or savory, try the homemade deserts, made fresh every day along with an array of breads and scone
There’s the Kasbah Doughnut, stuffed with toffee, praline cream and Jimmy Neachtain’s apples from his orchard.
Or if you’re not into that then the Malt parfait with tuille, truffle, sea salt ganache and crumb will sway you to the sweet side.
Of course a wine bar must have wine, and Kasbah has a wide selection of Biodynamic, Organic, Vegan and sustainable international wines available by the glass or the bottle.
The Sunday Brunch menu is served from 11am to 4pm, with great snacks paired with a special brunch beverages that change weekly.
