This milestone anniversary comes just months after the firm was awarded Business All-Star accreditation for Best Family Business by the All-Ireland Business Foundation in Dublin.
The business has the in-depth expertise of a ‘Big 4’ accounting practice and also the personal and caring approach of a small firm.
TJ Hyland & Co was founded in 1979 by Tom Hyland from Tuam and today is located at Steamship House on the Docks in the heart of Galway city.
Since the company’s inception, Tom Hyland and his team have been driven by the client mantra: ‘You’re not just a number to us’.
“The past 40 years have brought many changes to the way business, technology and tax operates in Ireland, yet we have remained steadfast in our commitment to client service,” Mr Hyland said.
As part of their 40-year celebrations, T J Hyland & Co has decided to sponsor MADRA, a dog charity.
It has made a generous donation to MADRA and hopes the sponsorship will encourage people to consider MADRA if they are thinking of getting a dog or would like to make a financial contribution as MADRA is mainly funded by donations from the public.
MADRA has a great website and Facebook page with details of the dogs that they have. These are updated frequently as some dogs find new homes and others are taken in. MADRA does its best not to turn a dog away.
