Irish company Nostra has announced that it will create 120 new roles for tech professionals over the next two years.
The IT company, which has an office in Athenry, is looking to hire people across a number of highly skilled roles such as engineering and cybersecurity.
The additional jobs will take the total number of people employed by Nostra in Ireland to 270 by 2023.
Speaking about today’s announcement, Kevin O’Loughlin, CEO of Nostra, said that the business is performing extremely well and that they have experienced exponential growth across all services and sectors.
“This is due to our attention to detail, technical expertise, and innovative approach to Managed I.T Services,” said Kevin.
“Technology changes rapidly and a company must have the ability to pivot, especially now in uncertain times. Our customers are predominantly business owners who are focused on ensuring their day-to-day operations perform as they should.
IT networks, systems and cybersecurity are generally not something they have time to consider and that is where we step in. We manage all of the I.T requirements so that people don’t have to worry about whether their systems are protected and operating as they should.”
An Taoiseach Micheál Martin welcomed the news, saying that Nostra’s continued success speaks to the “innovation and dynamism” of Irish companies.
“Today’s announcement is a strong vote of confidence in our talented and skilled workforce and is a welcome boost as we look to get people back to work in sustainable and high-quality jobs and rebuild our economy,” he said.
