The May ‘Over The Edge: Open Reading’ takes place on Zoom on Thursday, May 27 at the usual Over The Edge time 6.30-8.00pm (local Galway time).
The Featured Readers are Aaron Skehan, Francis Edwards, & KD Pryor(Kelley Amrein).
There will, as always at Over The Edge: Open Readings, be an open-mic after the Featured Readers have finished. New readers are always especially welcome at the open-mic.
Aaron Skehan is a 24-year-old student from Waterford, currently studying marine biology in GMIT. He started writing short stories three years ago when he signed up to the creative writing classes in Galway Technical Institute.
He mainly writes fiction about student life in Ireland.  He recently had his first published short story in ROPES magazine.
KD Pryor (Kelley Amrein) is a writer and world traveller who loves to add elements of her travels into her books. She loves all things mysterious, and ghosts, mythology, and supernatural elements often find their way into her stories.
Some of her favourite things include her family, her cats, a walk in the sun along a quiet country road, a stroll in Galway, Ireland where she always finds the best coffee, great books, a cuddly pair of slippers, and warm wool sweaters.
Kelley and her husband currently live in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Find her at: www.kdpryor.com.
Francis Xavier Edwards was born in La Ciudad de Nuestra Senora, Reina del Cielo y Los Angeles, commonly known as Los Angeles.
Born into a large Irish Catholic family, he left home at a young with the firm intention of coming to Ireland, eventually arriving in 2017 after getting sidetracked by 47 countries over a quarter of century.
Along the way he encountered poetry and music of many cultures and writers. Musician, traveller, writer, gardener, and observer of the world, he now lives in Galway where one of his many pursuits is writing poetry.
