Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill hosts a great night of music from the Crane in Galway for NYE 2022, on TG4, with Máirtín O’Connor, Cathal Hayden and Seán Óg Graham.

Ring in the New Year with a mighty musical gathering this Saturday on TG4, with famed trad musicians from around Ireland.

Musicians and singers from Galway and across the country will join hosts Dáithí Ó Sé, Máire Treasa Ní Dubhghaill, Áine Ní Bhreisleáin, and Doireann Ní Ghlacáin from much loved music venues across the country.

From the Crane Bar in Galway, hosted by Máire Treasa Ní Dubhghaill, we hear the sweetest of fiddle music from Liz and Yvonne Keane accompanied by John Blake.

Later Máirtín O’Connor and Cathal Hayden lift the roof with some of their most popular and intricate numbers.

Aran island singer Padraic Jack brings a great year for him to and end with a beautiful rendition of his hit Déanamh Gaineamh (Making Sand), as Gaeilge, for the first time.

Join Dáithí Ó Sé and Doireann Ní Ghlacáin to ring in the New Year on TG4 with the finest of Ireland’s musicians and  singers from the Mills Inn in Baile Bhúirne in Co. Cork where there will be a full house with John Spillane,  Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, David Geaney, The Raw Bar Collective and many more.

Dáithí Ó Sé and Doireann Ní Ghlacáin ring in the New Year with a mighty musical gathering in The Mills in Baile Bhúirne.

Buíonn Píobairí Bhéal Átha an Ghoarthaidh open the show with their powerful presence and later on in the show we meet the men’s football team from the same area who were winners of Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta for the first time in 2022.

Inside, the Mills is hopping! 5 time world champion Irish dancer, David Geaney, also know as the Dingle Dancer, is in flying form as are Conall Ó Gráda, Com Murphy, Nell Ní Chróinín and the rest of the fantastic Raw Bar Collective.

You couldn’t come to Baile Bhúirne without having Cór Chúil Aodha on board. and they join in with the ever popular Mo Ghile Mear.

Áine Ní Bhreisleáin hosts the evening in the musical hotspot, The Pipers Corner where she has the craic on New Year’s Eve with young Dublin musicians Siún Ní Ghlacáin, Méabh Mullihan and Libby & Ruth McCrohan in the capital.

She is also joined by the powerful Daoirí Farrell who is in fine voice for the evening. Sibéal Ní Chasaide is stunning as always, accompanied by Mike Nielsen.
