People living in Tuam may experience water outages until Wednesday evening while repairs take place on a burst water mains.
Repair works are being carried out on a burst mains on the southwest side of town which was reported at approximately 11:30am this morning.
This is causing water outages and supply disruptions to homes and business on the Athenry Road, Barnaderg, Dublin Road, and surrounding Tuam areas.
Repair works are currently scheduled to take place until 6pm on Wednesday, February 15.
A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.
It can take two to three hours after repairs are concluded before affected homes see their full water supply restored.
