Warning issued as continued freezing temps causing hazardous driving conditions

Galway daily weather Two weather warnings in place for Galway this morning

Met Éireann has issued another status yellow weather warning for Galway and all counties in the Republic.

Icy stretches, with freezing fog in places, will lead to further hazardous travelling conditions, the forecasters have said.

The warning comes into effect this afternoon, Thursday, at 4pm and will be lifted at midday on Friday.

Temperatures are set to rise over the weekend with highs of 8 to 10 degrees forecast on Saturday.
