Two new speed camera zones have gone live in Galway as of this morning.
Gardaí have introduced new mobile camera zones in 23 counties, at locations where there have been serious collisions.
The camre zones in Galway can be found on the R446 at Ballinalsoe, where there have been two serious collisions according to Gardaí.
The other location is on the R364 regional road to the north and south of Kilkerrin, where there have been two collisions lately.
In total 61 new camera zones have been introduced around the country as of today, bringing the total number in Ireland to 1,373.
