Galway Daily sport Tribes on the Prom venue moved

The Tribes on the Prom event, celebrating fans getting back to games after two years, has been moved due to high demand.

Galway GAA, in partnership with Leinster GAA, are staging a day of family fun ahead of, and after, the senior hurling match against Kilkenny on Sunday.

The event will now take place at The Prairie, Salthill Knocknacarra GAA club. There are limited tickets left for this free event.

Tribes on the Prom will kick off at 11am with live music from local band Evøke, and events will continue throughout the day until 6pm.

These will include Galway Bay FM’s Ollie Turner, together with a host of GAA experts, giving their thoughts on the battle of the Tribes vs. the Cats.

There will be plenty of food and drink available from artisan stands and the barista area.

For the young fans, there will be a Kids Zone area with plenty of entertainment including face painting, balloon artist, magician & ice cream van!

After the match we will hear the post match analysis again from the GAA experts and Evøke will keep the music going in between.

Tribes on the Prom is pedestrian access only at the entrance to Salthill Knocknacarra GAA Club on Dr. Mannix Road.

Ticket holders will be issued with wrist bands that will allow them access after the match again.
