Galway’s first ever ‘Swipe Right’ night for college students will be held at Bangin Noodles restaurant in De Burgo’s bar on Friday, 19 November.

The Bangin Swipe Right Night will be similar to speed dating but with the extra mischief and craic that the Augustine Street restaurant has become known for since it opened last year.

Manager Nikola Kainarova said that it will be “a classic speed dating event, crossed with Squid Games! That’s pretty much what we have lined up for the event.”

“We always like to enjoy ourselves and not take stuff too seriously with how we run our company and treat our staff. Fun, mischief, outside the box.”

The event will take place on Friday night, 19 November at 7.30pm.

The event is aimed at college students, however Bangin Noodles said that they won’t be asking for student cards, so there is no need for any McLovin style fake IDs!

For those worried that they are too old for the event, the organisers have put forward a simple test.

“If you have either an air fryer or a Dyson hoover on your Christmas list, then you are probably too old and maybe best to swipe left on this one!” they said.

If everything goes well with the first event, Bangin Noodles hopes to hold another Swipe Right Night for a more mature audience in the new year.

For more information on the event check out the Bangin Noodles Instagram and Facebook pages.

There is an Eventbrite page set up where people can book tickets for the event.

Ticket sales open up this Sunday 14 November at 9am and tickets are limited.
