People living in the Rinville and Maree areas outside of Galway City may experience water outages until this evening due to a burst pipe.
Irish Water reported a burst water mains in Maree at approximately 9:40am this morning.
This is causing outages and supply disruptions to Maree, Rinville, the Maree Road, and surrounding areas of the county.
Repair works are currently expected to be finished by 5pm on Tuesday afternoon.
It may take 2-3 hours after they are completed before people affected see their full water supply restored.
